• $70 Million Intersection Project Set to Begin in Spring 2025

  Prince William County is redeveloping the intersection at Prince William Parkway and Minnieville Road in Woodbridge as part of a $70 million project. The new two-level design will improve traffic flow and support the Quartz District development, which includes 1,000 townhomes, a park, and a shopping center. The county invested $9.6 million to purchase properties for the project, set to start this spring and finish by mid-2027. (Prince William Times)

• Wildlife Center Rehabilitates Injured Owl Found at Manassas Battlefield

  A great horned owl, injured and found at Manassas National Battlefield Park, was rehabilitated by the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center and successfully released back into the wild. The owl sustained severe wing injuries, likely from a car accident, but quick action and expert care enabled its recovery. The release took place at the park, marking a successful conclusion to its rehabilitation. (InsideNoVa)
