Are you over the snow yet? Well, in case you were wondering how much it all came in at here’s the 2-day score:

Prince William County

Dale City 10.5”

Dumfries 10.0”

Haymarket 7.4”

Manassas Park 9.2”

Oakridge Estates 9.2”

Quantico 11”

PWC also won the heaviest snow fall for Day-1, congrats Independent Hill!

Potentially more on the way for Saturday, but doesn’t look nearly as severe. I’ll cover that more in Friday’s edition.

  • Independent Hill Tops Northern Virginia Snow Totals with 11 Inches on Monday

    Prince William County recorded Northern Virginia's highest snowfall during the January 6 storm, with Independent Hill receiving 11 inches. Nearby areas, including Dale City and Dumfries, saw totals exceeding 10 inches. Fairfax County and other neighboring regions reported slightly lower snowfall amounts. The storm caused closures of schools and government offices in Prince William County, while public transit resumed with limited schedules. (Patch)

  • New Grading Policies Coming to Prince William Schools by June

    Prince William County Public Schools will review grading policies this school year to enhance equity, consistency, and engagement. Partnering with Hanover Research, the district will gather community feedback and analyze practices to recommend updates by June. Current systems, including credit recovery programs, will be examined as part of the process. (Inside NoVa)
